Globalization has clearly benefitted the multi-corporations. Regulations that restrict economic opportunities in local regions may not exist in other areas of the globe. But, globalization has surely made political restrictions complicated. Should other countries help regulate crimes that are not within their borders? Should there be an organization with a non-country bias that is responsible for restricting actions? Who (from what countries? What professions?) would be in the organization? INTERPOL seems to be a great start but with only 588 people representing 84 countries, it is prone to over working, bias, and politically motivated actions. Drug trafficking is one great thing INTERPOL takes pride in regulating, but it clearly still exists. Poppy-seed production in Afghanistan, drug wars in Columbia continues everyday. Is the day where an effective international political regulating organization reigns far away? In anytime, I believe it’s impossible to avoid bias, unless we ask some extra terrestrial life-forms to be out judges. But, surely we can do better.
